Targetting ‘Green’ with Earthsense

The MarketingGreen blog has an awesome interview with Amy Hebard, founder of Earthsense, which is a market research company focused on green consumers.  Among the many insights, it is mentioned that there are multiple organizations out there today that focus on targetting the green consumer.  This includes defining who they are, understanding their attitude/behaviors, determining what types of products they are most interested in purchasing, and how they view various corporate brands.  The whole thing is a science in and of itself!

For those that are most interested in understanding this market space, there is LOHAS, or Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability.  In addition to conducting market research, they have a yearly conference for those interested in this space.  According to LOHAS, the market size of the opportunity with these consumers is north of a ginormous $200B!!!  Definitely worth doing your research on…
