Doing well by doing good

Last weeks Newsweek had an in-depth article by Zachary Karabell about the bottom-line benefit of being eco-friendly.  The crux of the argument: rising commodities prices make it economically attractive to be green.

This argument has been something that my former professor, Dr. Geoffrey Heal, has been mentioning for years now, except in an even broader context.  His new book, When Principles Pay, has numerous anecdotal stories along with hard numbers supporting this conclusion.
